Current Volunteer Needs 

Vision and Hearing Screening - Tuesday, Nov. 1

This year, Moorlands will be conducting annual hearing and vision screening for all students on Tuesday, November 1.  The PTA is needed to provide significant volunteer support throughout the entire screening day.  Morning and afternoon shifts are available.  But lunch will be provided to any volunteers who sign up to help both in the morning and in the afternoon!  To learn more about all of the volunteer duties and to sign up, please visit www.mysignup.com/moorlandspta_visionandhearing.

Food Drive - Nov. 1 - Nov. 9

It is time once again the the annual Moorlands Food Drvie to benefit Hopelink.  This year, the food drive will run from Tuesday, Nov. 1, through Tuesday, Nov. 9.   We will need a number of volunteers to help the drive run successfully.  Volunteers are needed to pick up empty collection crates from Hopelink (beginning Oct. 26), collecting donated items from the classrooms at the end of each day, and delivering all donations to Hopelink.  For further details and to sign up, please visit www.mysignup.com/moorlandspta_2011fooddrive.

Staff Appreciation - "Spooky Treats" Needed for Thursday, Oct. 27

Please help Moorlands PTA celebrate our wonderful staff for the month of October! We are looking for creative bakers to send in some Spooky Treats for our staff on Thursday, October 27th.

Treats will need to be delivered to the Staff Lounge by that morning or can be dropped off at Laura Parpart's house the night before.

Go to the My Sign Up page to sign up to bring a treat. Please also share what you will be bringing so we don't have a lot of duplicates.
