The Moorlands library is run by our exceptional school librarian, Karen Edwardsen.  But it could not function without the tremendous support of PTA volunteers. 
 
Volunteering in the library is a great way to help reinforce the importance of reading to Moorlands students.  It also provides volunteers with a wonderful opportunity to get to know and assist students throughout the Moorlands community.
 
Library volunteers commit to a weekly (or sometimes bi-weekly) time slot of 2-3 hours and are responsible for:

• Checking in, renewing, and checking out books
• Reshelving books and helping keep shelves neat and orderly
• Other various tasks to assist Karen
