First Day Tea and Volunteer Fair 2011-12
This will be an opportunity to sign up to help with the many PTA sponsored events throughout the year. While enjoying your beverage, be sure to make your way to the library for the Volunteer Fair. Volunteering is a great way to help your child, help the shcoool and help the community! Hand in hand, together we can!
 
Interested in being the committee chair?
Responsible for coordinating the set up of the tea/coffee service including the food and tables for the activity. The First Day Tea serves as a meet and greet for the PTA and includes a volunteer fair which allows parents/grandparents to talk to committee chairs, PTA board members and other volunteers about existing committees and sign up for them if interested. This is a once a year activity which lasts about 2hrs. Organization and planning usually begins at the end of the school year or a week or two before the start of the new school year.
