We Get to Have an Assembly!!!
The Moorlands PTA has invited speaker Amy Lang to teach us, as parents, how, when, and most importantly why to have "The Talk" with our kids. You know, the one that makes us blush, giggle, and/or squirm.
Thursday, April 5th 7:00-8:30 Speaker Amy Lang will share her “7 Steps to Make the Talks Rock!” for parents to begin the birds and the bees conversation with their children.
All parents are invited to attend this FREE event.

Moorlands Spelling Bee

WHAT: PTA-Sponsored Spelling Bee
WHERE: Moorlands Gym
WHEN: Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 10:00 A.M.
WHO: All 1st – 6th Graders
All 1st – 6th graders are invited to participate in this PTA-sponsored Spelling Bee. All spellers will be competing that day within their grade groupings; there are no preliminary rounds. The 6th grade Champion Speller will receive a one-year subscription to Britannica Online for Kids and a one-semester online world language course from Powerspeak12. Additionally, the 6th grade Spelling Bee Champion will advance to the 2012 Regional Spelling Bee on Sunday, March 25, 2012, at 1 pm Town Hall, Seattle.
